The Swim At Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon
Temperatures this year hovered around 52 degrees Fahrenheit and currents were stronger than normal. More than 2,000 professionals and age-groupers took to the water on Sunday, June 5, jumping off the San Francisco Belle ferry.

Cunnama, Dibens Victorious At Rev3 Quassy
South Africa’s James Cunnama narrowly held off New Zealand’s Terenzo Bozzone to take his first win at Rev3 Quassy. In the women’s race, Great Britain’s Julie Dibens turned in a solid all-around effort to hold off two-time defending champion Mirinda Carfrae of Australia to earn the victory.
Findlay Takes Title At ITU Madrid
Taking the title this year for the women was Canadian Paula Findlay with her fourth win, equaling Emma Moffatt's record of Dextro Energy Triathlon Series race wins.
