The overall winner will be chosen at the end of the year and will be featured in Triathlete’s annual swimsuit photo shoot. The winner will also receive $500 in merchandise from TYR.

We chatted with Erin to learn more about the personality behind the beauty: How long have you been competing in triathlons?

Erin D.: I have been competing in Triathlons for 13 years! What is your proudest accomplishment in the sport?

Erin D.: My proudest accomplishment is creating the 3BAR ENERGY BAR, the bar made by triathletes for triathletes! What does it mean to you to move on as a finalist in the contest?

Erin D.: It means more to me than I could put into words, but as a triathlete we are always proud of how hard we work, so it is so amazing to get credit for how our bodies look from all of that hard work. Do you have a background in modeling?

Erin D.: Yes, I do! I was a swimsuit model during college and have been a fitness host and model for Home Shopping Network for the last 6 years! What do you think you’ll spend your $100 from TYR on?

Erin D.: I really need some new tri shorts, or maybe a swimsuit. What do you like to do for fun outside of the sport?

Erin D.: More swimming, biking, and running…it’s in my blood…
