Australia’s McCormack joins the likes of Hunter Kemper and Jarrod Shoemaker, U.S. Olympians who have both been Wheaties models.

“We are so excited to welcome Chris into the Wheaties family and celebrate his tremendous achievement,” said Wheaties marketing manager Dan Strangler.

McCormack, who was the world champion in 2007, won the 2010 world title in thrilling fashion—leading the race and then caught by Germany’s Andreas Raelert at mile 21 of the marathon, McCormack ran stride for stride with Raelert for several miles before charging ahead for the win.
