Every Tuesday we’ll feature a different coach’s workout you can complete in 60 mins (or less!).

This week’s run workout comes from USAT Level 2 coach Andrew Dollar of Nashville-based FTP Coaching (Ftpcoaching.com). “This is a pacing workout designed for athletes training for an off-season half marathon,” Dollar says. “It can also be scaled down for 10K racing too. “

Off-Season Half Marathon Pacing Workout

Warm-up:
10 mins building to steady Zone 2 pace

Main Set:
6×5 mins alternating between half marathon and 10K pace.

2-min easy jogs in between.

Cool-down: 8 mins easy jogging
