Ironman announced that the broadcast of the 2012 Ironman World Championship presented by myList will re-air this Sunday (Dec. 23) from 4 to 6 p.m. ET. The two-hour
show, which will air on NBC highlights the world’s toughest endurance race that took place on Oct. 13 in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.

This year’s broadcast features a special two-part telecast that will encompass the stunning world-class sporting event that is the Ironman World Championship. The show will take viewers on an all-access experience, unveiling the intense emotion, physical demands and dramatic competition that unfolds each year on the Island of Hawaii. Throughout the opening segments, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the build-up to race day, with unique perspective from Ironman insiders and professionals that will set the stage and showcase how the male and female pros prepare to tackle the world’s toughest endurance test.
