For two years, CNN has selected iReporters to race in a triathlon with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and CNN’s Team Fit Nation. Lucky past participants of the Triathlon Challenge have been given all of the tools and the training necessary to race, and all of them completed their races with the team! If you’re tired of making excuses about your health … stop! Submit a 2-3 minute video detailing why you should be chosen as one of this year’s “6-pack” and you could be on your way to a new and better you!

If you are one of the six people selected, you’ll receive a bike, uniform, wetsuit, personal training and nutrition coaching, two all-expenses-paid training trips, and a chance to train and compete alongside Dr. Sanjay Gupta at the 2012 Nautica Malibu Triathlon.

Applicants should be new to the sport of triathlon, and will be expected to blog and use social media regularly throughout their journey. All participants will be required to get doctor’s clearance before taking part in the Challenge. Only entries from the U.S. will be considered.
