Frenchman Denis Chevrot is hoping to have a huge impact on the first world championship outside of the United States by taking the win in his home country. In August, Denis finished 4th at the PTO Asian Open in Singapore. In June, Denis won Ironman Hamburg, and ran 2:31:38. He has also won Ironman Frankfurt, where he ran 2:38:44. This former swimmer has clearly mastered the run.
