Cyclist Lance Armstrong has once again claimed he plans to be on the starting line of the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii the year after his final Tour de France appearance. He is unsure if he will be racing in Kona in 2011 or 2012. The prospect of racing at the most famous triathlon in the world has come up in many of Armstrong’s recent press conferences. The seven-time Tour de France winner is currently in Australia preparing with his team (Team RadioShack) for next week’s Tour Down Under. Prior to heading to Australia, Armstrong spent a few weeks in Hawaii training on the Ironman World Championship course in Kona.

On the prediction of where he will finish among the professionals, Armstrong said: “I don’t know I could be top three, top five or top 10, but anyway, I want to come and finish.”
