The 70.3 world champion (2007) and three-time Ironman world champion (2010, 2013, 2014) may be newly retired, but she’s got no shortage of insights on what it will take to earn a spot on the podium at this weekend’s Ironman 70.3 World Championship. In this video, Carfrae and her husband, fellow pro Tim O’Donnell (who placed third at the 2010 70.3 World Championship race) chat about the stellar start lists for in the men’s and women’s pro races, which Trirating expert Thorsten Radde analyzed for Triathlete this week:
