Struggling to find tasty gluten-free options to meet your fueling needs? Look no further. We taste-tested three nutrient-packed bars that will power you through workouts (sans gluten).

Probar Fruition, $1.79

Each 1.7oz bar contains a full serving of fruit, 160 calories and 33g carbs, and consists of dates, oats, omega-3-rich chia seeds and cashews. With dates as the leading ingredient, the bar is moist and chewier than others, and it’s available in seven fruity flavors (blueberry was the taste-test favorite).

NOW Manuka Newton Snack Bar, $1.99

This bar from NOW (“No Opportunity Wasted”) tastes like a cross between a Nutri-Grain bar and a Fig Newton. The 1.6oz bar, which is loaded with chia seeds, also contains Manuka honey, a nutrient-rich variety of the sweet stuff from New Zealand. There are 150 calories and 32g carbs in each natural bar. Available in Manuka honey or strawberry flavors.

Breeze Bar, $2.69
These crispy rice treats are made with organic ingredients and have a trail mix flavor and texture, as they’re packed with dry roasted peanuts, clover honey, raisins and dried cranberries. The 2.5oz original flavor bar has 310 calories and 41g carbs. Also available in a 1.25oz “snack size,” the cocoa espresso flavor contains whole espresso beans.
