Chia seeds, with their nutrient-rich properties, are popping up in all kinds of products, from drinks to bars. Here are some of our favorite chia-filled products.

Health Warrior Chia Bar
Despite the fact this bar is less than an ounce, it boasts 1,000mg of omega-3s, 15 grams of carbs, 4 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. Our favorite flavor was acai berry (also available in coconut and chocolate peanut butter). The 100-calorie, gluten-free bar is tasty and chewy, making it perfect for a quick snack. $1.89, Healthwarrior.com

Mamma Chia
This organic chia-based drink comes in nine flavors (we loved the coconut mango option) and packs a seedy texture. Made with a lot of chia seeds and fruit juice, and lightly sweetened with agave nectar, the flavor is mild—about as potent as a flavored iced tea. Each 10-ounce bottle contains 2,500mg of omega-3s, 20 grams of carbs, 6 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein. Heavy in antioxidants, it’s a smart post-workout recovery drink option. $3.49, Mammachia.com

NOW Energy Bar
For those who’d prefer not to crunch on a lot of chia seeds but seek their nutritious goodness, the honeycomb with chia and raisins NOW (“No Opportunity Wasted”) Energy Bar is just the right snack. In each gluten-free 2.5-ounce bar: 6 grams of fiber, a whopping 42 grams of carbs and 11 grams of protein—making them also ideal for refueling. The all-natural bars are made with whole-grain oats, raisins and corn flakes, and contain Manuka honey, a particularly healthful variety from New Zealand. $2.99, Nowenergybar.com
