With another sprint to the finish, Sanders passed a gritty Braden Currie in the final quarter-mile at the world championship race in St. George to take second. Just after celebrating with (non-alcoholic) beer on the podium Sanders talked to us about the most insane race he’s ever participated in, how tough the course was and how he dug deep, and the coaching change that has made a big difference in the last six months.
