April 10's Marquee Triathlon, which was set to feature sprint, Olympic and half-iron distances, was forced into a duathlon after concerns about E. coli surfaced thanks to the 0.2 inches of rain the Phoenix-area received the day before the race.
Tempe Town Lake, the centerpiece and swim course for next month's Ironman Arizona event, is set to re-open this Tuesday, Oct. 26. See photos in the article.

On Saturday, Nov. 6 Tempe Town Lake welcomed a few hundred athletes into the waters for a DCB Extreme Adventures Open-Water Swim Event.
According to several local Phoenix-area news sources the dam at Tempe Town Lake is nearing completion and should be ready to be re-filled in time for the Nov. 1 deadline.
