The sports nutrition market is filled with bars designed for energy and recovery, but what if you just want a snack? Enter these four bars—all less than 200 calories—designed to be eaten in between workouts, at your desk or anytime your taste buds need a little pick-me-up.

ProBar Halo $1.59

ProBar recently released its line of Halo bars, all dessert-y flavors, such as rocky road and nutty marshmallow, and all 150–160 calories. Triathlete editors sampled the honey graham flavor, and we tasted more honey than graham. Yet the bars are great for you: They’re certified organic, vegan and have a healthy dose of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Theprobar.com

Rise Breakfast Bar $1.49

We’d love to start any day off with Rise Breakfast Bars, which are gluten-free, less than 200 calories and packed with fruits and nuts. The editors enjoyed sampling the crunchy macadamia pineapple flavor, just 160 calories, and liked that the bar only has a total of eight ingredients. The taste reminded one editor of a breakfast cereal. Risebar.com

Clif Crunch $3.99 for 10 bars (two per package)

Clif’s all-natural granola bar has added blueberry crisp to its flavor lineup. The drier texture resembles the consistency of a crunchy granola bar, and it has a deliciously strong blueberry flavor. One editor thought it tasted similar to blueberry muffin batter. Each two-bar package contains 180 calories. Clifbar.com

Kind Fruit & Nut $1.99

This fruity, nutty bar might be too sticky for a bike ride, but the new peanut butter strawberry flavor is delicious for any other time of the day. It tastes just like a PB&J (with crunchy peanut butter, of course), and we loved the texture, especially the not-too-crunchy whole almonds. The bar is gluten-free and all-natural with 190 calories.
