These three nutritious, tasty options put the “go” in grab-n-go breakfast.

Garden Lites Veggie Muffins

With zucchini, carrot or corn as the first ingredient, these frozen 2-ounce muffins are a healthy treat and easy to eat in a hurry. All individually packaged, they heat from frozen in just 35 seconds (or you can let them defrost and eat at room temperature). The five flavors—ranging from a moist Veggie Blueberry Oat to staff-favorite Zucchini Banana Chocolate Chip, a tasty twist on banana bread—are the right amount of sweet, and they each contain 120 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 3–4 grams of protein.

$3.99 for box of four, Gardenlites.com

Straw Propeller Gourmet Oatmeal

Made with only recognizable, real-food ingredients, this oatmeal is ready in two minutes (just add boiling water), and each cup is a decadent, hearty breakfast to start off your day. We loved the novel flavor combos, like Cherry and Chia, and Peaches and Berry Bramble. Staff favorites were the gluten-free Apple Crisp, which tastes like an apple crumble with walnuts and white chocolate chips, and PB&J, which offers a pleasant peanut crunch. Calories range from 230 to 440 per cup, and each one is a good source of carbohydrates, fiber and protein (7–12 grams per cup).

Siggi’s Skyr Yogurt

An Icelandic style of strained yogurt, skyr (pronounced “skeer”) is similar in taste to Greek strained yogurt, but contains less sugar and more protein. The ultra thick and creamy flavored yogurts have a slightly tart taste and contain just 8–11 grams of sugar and a hefty 12–15 grams of protein per convenient cup. Siggi’s emphasizes simple, fresh ingredients—yogurts are sweetened with agave nectar and cane sugar, and the milk is free of growth hormones. Flavors range from the common (strawberry, vanilla) to the uncommon (orange and ginger, coconut, the newly launched pumpkin and spice). Siggi’s recently debuted a line of squeezable tubes (strawberry and blueberry flavors) for an easy pre- or post-workout snack that also tastes good frozen.

$1.69 for 5.3-ounce cup, $3.99 for box of eight tubes, Siggisdairy.com
