The Draw: Lightweight, Bare Necessities
Though on the smaller end at first glance, the Transition Bag 2.0 easily expands to put it back into the medium-sized category when needed. Boasting many of the same features as other bags in the category (wet/dry compartment, laptop sleeve, helmet stowage), this bag is definitely the lightest of the bunch. Zoot has taken years of excellent tri-sack experience and whittled it down to the basics for transition and post-race necessities in the 2.0. (In fact, there’s a smart little triathlon checklist printed into the inside main compartment.) As construction is decidedly mid-duty, the payoff is a lighter bag than others. Though it remains to be seen if durability is an issue, with so many small zippers and lightweight mesh panels—no problems so far.
