The Draw: Super-Flattering Sun Protection

Tri Sirena’s founder, triathlete Stefani Schuetz, was diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma at the age of 25 but didn’t want to give up her active outdoor lifestyle. So she created this line of sportswear focused on sun protection. This sleeved number features SPF 50 material from Hincapie Sportswear with an extremely flattering print and cut. The silky fabric has a luxurious feel and is tightly woven to keep the sun out, making it a good, warmer pick for chillier races—when it warms up, the full-zip jersey will let you air out. A thin, comfy chamois makes the shorts a great pick for shorter-distance races—you might want a bit more padding to go long. Two iPhone 6-sized back pockets on the jersey will fit a few bars and gels to get you to the next aid station.
