Orca designed this suit for the “progressive swimmer,” i.e. someone looking for maximum help getting their hips up in the water. We found the float in this suit pretty neutral, hitting the sweet spot between nada and popping us up too high. (That said if you need help with hips dragging when you sight, this isn’t your prop.) The S7 has surprising flexibility in the shoulders for an entry-level suit and rips off fast. The low neckline is comfy, but better take yours for a test drive if you can to ensure proper sizing; too small or large and it can gap in the back.
