The GT-R makes a strong first impression and looks fast while still in the box. Although available in only one size, it is highly adjustable and fits a range of different head shapes and sizes. The GT-R slips on easily, with visor in place, courtesy of a slick blend of materials, including highly flexible panels that help fit over the ears—a great help when speeding through T1. The Suomy is pleasantly quiet at speed, and venting is quite good for an aero-focused helmet. Note that the visor does let in a fair bit of wind, which helps keep fogging at bay, but may irritate overly sensitive eyes—and it could use a slightly darker tint on the visor, for the sunniest of days.
