The Draw: Light, Cool, and Colorful

The Octal’s aesthetic has gone mainstream over the past couple of seasons, so now you can enjoy Poc’s fuller head-coverage safety features without feeling like everyone in transition is staring at you. Of course, if you like that sort of thing, this lid comes in some fantastic colors so you can draw the attention of both your fellow triathletes and those easily distracted drivers as well (we love Garminum Blue, pictured). The Octal has hands-down the simplest and most ergonomically pleasing strap system, with straps that lay comfortably against the head and face the way they should. The strategically located “ginormous” vents keep your head cool and would be a great choice for warmer race days, unless you prefer to compromise on comfort for maximum aerodynamics.
