Pioneer SGX-CA600

The Draw: Tons of info in a tiny package

It’s no surprise that electronics giant Pioneer has put together a rock-solid cycling computer that connects reliably to devices, but the real draw on this unit is the endless amount of data the SGX-CA600 can crunch and display. If paired with a Pioneer power unit, this computer can not only handle all of the most advanced cycling dynamics, but it can also display pedaling vectors—a very cool stat that shows the exact direction of forces around the pedal stroke. While the high resolution allows for lots of data display, the extra tiny screen means that data can be tough to see at a glance. The color is a nice touch for graphs, charts, and vectors, but navigation and setup can be difficult without the help of Pioneer’s app. For hardcore data junkies looking for airtight device connections, this is the real deal—just be sure to wear reading glasses.
