The Tri Fly is for the athlete who likes to dabble in a variety of race distances. The shoe has a nice mixture of textiles, light weight, good ventilation, and a large heel strap (easy use for the larger triathlete). Most notably, this is a very stiff shoe. The rigid sole continues into a firm upper that creates great power transfer but at some comfort expense. Although the closure system is a bit dated with bulky Velcro straps, the attention to a truly seamless interior, good stock insole, and a wide toe box makes this shoe ready to go with no break-in period.
