Matt Reed went to the A2 Wind Tunnel in the heart of Nascar country in Charlotte, N.C. to refine his position with the help of A2’s Bicycle Specialist Mike Giraud. Reed raced last year with his forearms in a down-pointed position. Some aero experts speculate that this style of arm position is typically less aerodynamic than horizontal or up-turned forearms. We will see early this year if this tunnel test results in a position change for Reed, who has dominated the cycling leg of Olympic and 70.3 distance triathlons for years.
