The Draw: Iconic, Clever Options

The Hed Cliplite bars are a proven product that embody the old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The simple design includes many clever features, including a hinged forearm rest that flips up and out of the way to give hands room on the bar tops when climbing. The lightweight carbon extensions are available in three configurations: S-bend, Lazy S-bend, and ski bend. Hed is arguably master of the S-bend shape, having developed it while working with a famous Texan-triathlete- turned-professional-cyclist. The Lazy S-bend unit we tried provided just the right amount of wrist relief when compared to a typical S-bend bar. The Cliplite is also one of the most lightweight clip-ons that we tried.
