The magnificent Zeiss visor dominates the Aerohead, offering the rider massive aerodynamic benefits, a near 360-degree unobstructed view, and an immersive, POV-gamer experience when out on the road. At 450 grams, it is one of the lightest full aero helmets, courtesy of its carbon fiber shell, and we experienced no perceptible neck fatigue on even our longest test rides. Giro considered the needs of triathletes when designing the visor system with a simple, magnetic flip-up solution, allowing one-handed operation for efficient T1 and T2 navigation. The Aerohead includes an extra-thick, removable and washable brow pad for enhanced moisture management and comfort, as well as a highly adjustable retention system for both vertical and wraparound fit preferences.
