Fusar Technologies has begun taking pre-orders for a new three-part system that turns any helmet into a smart helmet. The Mohawk device, an all-in-one action camera, activity tracker, communication device, navigation unit, and emergency response system, is Fusar’s flagship component. Equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the smart helmet system syncs with your smartphone so you can view and share hi-res photos and videos instantly online. The system’s GPS allows you to track activities and, when paired with the crash detection sensors, the device can send SMS and email alerts to your emergency contacts with your precise location. The full kit will be available for $549, but it’s being offered with early bird pricing of $349 through an Indiegogo campaign.
