The Draw: Screaming Bang for Your Buck
One of the most hotly anticipated bikes in the U.S. this year has finally landed after lengthy delays. Canyon ships bikes directly to the consumer, theoretically saving the buyer money by cutting out the middleman. The side e ect is that owners have to receive, assemble, and fit their own rig. Canyon does an excellent job making their bikes relatively easy to assemble and their online fit guide is pretty easy-to-use. The end product is a remarkable value for components and a solidly engineered bike that punches well above its weight class. The Speedmax CF had a well-rounded ride, slightly on the harsher side, but still perfectly suited for long-course racing and training. We also loved the handling and stability on descents.
