The Draw: High-Level Bike for Any Athlete

BMC’s TimeMachine was both one of the most unique designs and one of the best-balanced rides of the bunch. A smooth ride coupled with excellent power response gave way to predictable tracking on straightaways and on steep downhills—something a few of the other high-end bikes struggled with. Extremely tall and tight sizing makes this an excellent design for riders needing a high setup. Our only gripe: The brakeset was difficult to properly tune. Brakes aside, the rest of the component package—BMC’s fantastic integrated, yet easily adjustable, aerobars, shifters, wheels, etc.—are all ideally spec’d. Out of the box, this bike fits a wide range of athletes, from beginner to advanced, on all distance events.
