2014 Ironman world champion Sebastian Kienle is hoping for the opposite of record-breaking conditions. “Ideal conditions for me would be the exact opposite from last year. Very windy and not very fast. If you have to do sub-8 hours here, it’s going to be definitely difficult for me to be the one first crossing the finish line.” The German also chats with us about the confidence he’s found in his running this year, as well as what keeps him driven toward success in the sport.
