Triathlete magazine Editor-in-Chief Julia Polloreno recently traveled to the California/Nevada border to check out the Ironman Lake Tahoe course. The inaugural event, which will take place in a little less than a year on Sept. 22, 2013, will feature 2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles of cycling and 26.2 miles of running around Lake Tahoe.
