2015 Ironman Copenhagen

Three thousand age-group triathletes took to the scenic streets of Copenhagen, Denmark for the 2015 Ironman Copenhagen event. More than 200,000 spectators came out to cheer on the athletes on a sunny, cool day.

In the men’s pro race, Guilherme Valenza Manocchio of Brazil bested the small, but competitive field with a time of 8:14:56. Michelle Vesterby of Denmark narrowly edged out a hard-charging Sofie Goos to take the top spot on the women’s pro podium. Vesterby’s finishing time was an impressive 8:59:49.
