Race day at Ironman Arizona featured two new bike course records (Jordan Rapp for the men and Michelle Vesterby for the women), but it was ultimately fast marathon times that determined the winners. Spain’s Victor Del Corral claimed his second victory in two weeks, while Germany’s Julia Gajer beat out pre-race favorite Meredith Kessler (USA) in the final two miles. Read the race recap.
