The final 30 minutes of every Ironman is special. Athletes pour their hearts and souls onto the road leading to the finish, with spectators cheering them on everystep of the way. The 2011 Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas was no different. The atmosphere was electric and the final 30 minutes before the cut-off saw some amazing finishers cross the line. Triathlete magazine’s photo editor, Nils Nilsen was on site to capture their accomplishments.
