Wisconsin’s state capital, Madison provided a stunning backdrop for athletes from around the world on Sunday at the 2018 Ironman Wisconsin triathlon. American Linsey Corbin took the top honors, putting together a 1:01:16 swim, a 4:59:01 bike, and a 3:04:52 marathon to take the win in a new course record time of 9:12:39. Jennie Hansen (USA) finished in second with a time of 9:47:06, while Katie Thomas (USA) rounded out the podium in third with a time of 9:50:12.

I came here with the goal of having fun, testing out some changes I’ve made on the bike & racing this bucket list event. It was a day I’ll never forget.
