Germany’s Jan Frodeno claimed the victory at Friday’s Ironman 70.3 Dubai, making him eligible for the $1 million Triple Crown prize.

“I think today was a bit of an exclamation mark for all of those guys who think I’ve just been sitting on my couch looking at my medals,” Frodeno told Bob Babbitt at the finish line. “I’m still hungry. I’m still out here to kick ass and that’s what I’m going to keep trying to do.”
