Germany’s Patrick Lange earned the final podium spot in Kona in impressive fashion. After earning a penalty on the bike, Lange came into T2 in 23rd position. From there, he unleashed the greatest marathon ever turned in on the Ironman World Championship course (2:39:45) to claim third and make it an all-German podium.
