Switzerland’s Daniela Ryf dominated the 2016 Ironman World Championship on Saturday, Oct. 9, putting together a 52:50 swim, 4:52:26 bike and a 2:56:51 marathon to cross the finish line in a new course record time of 8:46:46 and defend her 2015 title. After the race, Ryf called the performance her “perfect day” of racing.
