Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) on Sunday became the first sitting member of Congress to complete an Ironman triathlon. She tweeted a photo of herself crossing the finish line, completing the race in 15:12:33.

Sinema, a freshman member, had trained for the race for a year.

At one point during the bike portion, Sinema fell off her bike because of a four-foot tumbleweed in the road, she tweeted Monday.

“Only @IRONMANArizona – 4 ft. tumbleweed in a whirling mini-tornado on Beeline knocked me off bike onto the highway. Hard. #stillfinished” — Kyrsten Sinema (@kyrstensinema)
