Chrabot, Marsh Claim Victories At 70.3 Raleigh
This year it was Americans Matt Chrabot and Amy Marsh who earned the wins against competitive fields.

In only its second year of existence, Ironman 70.3 Raleigh has become a favorite of pros and age groupers thanks to its strong triathlon community and ideal conditions. This year it was Americans Matt Chrabot and Amy Marsh who earned the wins against competitive fields.
Chrabot put together a 3:52:07 victory thanks to a 23:04 swim, a 2:12:48 bike and a 1:13:30 run. Canadian Lionel Sanders spent the day making up for a slower swim and nearly ran his way to victory with a blistering 1:09:56 half-marathon. He settled for second in 3:52:47. New Zealand’s Callum Millward had a strong all-around day, earning third.
Marsh kicked off her day with a solid 25:13 swim and then followed it with a 2:29:12 bike. She ran her way to the front position with a 1:24:10 half-marathon, crossing the finish line in 4:21:39 and earning the victory. Fellow American Linsey Corbin spent the bike making up for a slower swim and then turned in the fastest run split of the day (1:21:25) to finish second. Ellis spent a good chunk of her day in the lead, but slowed on the run to finish third.
