Alistair and Jonny Brownlee crossed the line together to claim a joint victory at the Blenheim triathlon near Oxford, England.
It was Alistair’s first competitive race after the Achilles tendon injury that sidelined him for three months.
The brothers were selected for Britain’s Olympic triathlon team on Saturday, with Stuart Hayes named in the domestique role for the men’s team.
Two-time world champion Alistair has now won 12 of the last 16 World Series triathlons in which he has competed.
