Challenge Family CEO, Felix Walchshöfer, was excited about the quick sellout.

“No other race has sold this many slots in just 3:15, we’re truly humbled by the passion triathletes have for Challenge Roth and thank everyone for their support,” he said. “We also appreciate that there are many disappointed athletes who weren’t successful, and we’re so sorry for this. However, we hope everyone understands that we aren’t able to make more places available as we will not compromise on quality by overcrowding.”

The last chance to get into the 2014 Roth race will come on December 6. The Challenge Family will give away a spot as part of its Christmas Charity Fundraiser. Learn more about the race at Challenge-roth.com.
