As the year comes to an end, the International Triathlon Union (ITU) is showcasing the best images from their photographers in 2018. First up, Wagner Aruajo—who calls Brazil home—shares his top 20 photos.

“I’ve been trying to add more and more artistic shots to our journalistic coverage and it went very well, especially in the ITU Multisport World Championships where we have many days and opportunities for great shots,” he said. “Talking about the World Championships I had the chance to cover and race in Fyn Denmark. I raced the Sprint Duathlon and less than 10 minutes after I crossed the line I had my cares ready to shoot the race I was in! It was very exciting.”
