2010 Ironman world champion Mirinda Carfrae has been working with coach Mat Steinmetz to improve her speed on the bike in preparation for the Ironman World Championship this October. Steinmetz has been using tools such as moto-pacing and a power meter to help Carfrae get faster on the bike as well as steady her effort level. Inside Triathlon senior editor Aaron Hersh and photographer Jeff Clark followed the world champ and her coach around Boulder, Colo., for a few days to get an inside look into her new training strategy.
