Due to lingering weather conditions from Tropical Storm Ida, the WTC has relocated the swim start of the Ironman 70.3 Championship to the Harbor side of Clearwater Beach.

Volunteers and staff will be on-hand race day to direct athletes to the correct swim start location. It is a five-minute walk from the transition area.

The harbor swim will be an in-water wave start for professionals and a time-trial start for age groupers. Pro waves will go as per scheduled times (6:45 for pro women and 6:53 for pro men). Age group time trials will start at 6:55 a.m. The time trial start for age groups will be done in order based on current assigned waves.
