Named a top-five triathlon in the United States by Outside Magazine, the 10th annual event will feature three days of activities including a an expo and a sprint-distance race on Saturday, June 21. TriRock Philadelphia culminates with an Olympic distance event on Sunday, June 22, which will welcome some of the best pro triathletes in the country.

“Philadelphia is a hub for endurance athletes to compete in world-class events year-round, and we’re pleased to bring TriRock Philadelphia back for its 10th year running,” said Molly Quinn, Vice President of Triathlon at Competitor Group, organizer of the TriRock Triathlon Series. “Our partners Johnson & Johnson and Philadelphia Insurance Companies have helped make this event a success and we look forward to more great events to come.”

Fairmount Park will host the scenic and challenging race, which features a finish line concert on both days of the event. The start, finish and transition areas are located just off of Martin Luther King Drive, near the base of Black Road. TriRock Philadelphia will provide participants with a finisher’s medal, technical t-shirt, red carpet finish, post-race breakfast and beer garden.

Launched in partnership with Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY), the PHLY Cup will once again return to the 2014 race. Pro triathletes will compete in the Olympic distance for a chance to win a prize purse totaling $25,000.
