TriGrandPrix Championship To Offer 100,000 Euro Prize Purse
The TriGrandPrix international race series returns for 2011 and has expanded to six races across Europe offering a 100,000 Euro prize purse for the championship.

The TriGrandPrix international race series returns for 2011 and has expanded to six races across Europe offering a 100,000 Euro prize purse for the championship. Last year big names including Mirinda Carfrae, Leanda Cave, Cat Morrison, Edith Niederfriniger, Eneko Llanos, Fraser Cartmell, Mathias Hecht and Timo Bracht took part in the Championship and raved about the iconic race locations.

2011 TriGrandPrix Series
Round 1: TriGrandPrix UK – May 22, 2011
Hosted at Emberton Park in partnership with Big Cow Events. The international participants plan to race on the weekend and spend a few days in London après-race.
Round 2: TriGrandPrix Basque Country – June 11, 2011
The Zarautz Triathlon is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is held on one of the most beautiful Basque coastlines.
Round 3: TriGrandPrix Navarra – July 3, 2011
This event takes place at Lake Aritzaleku, near Pamplona just three days before the famous running of the bulls.
Round 4: TriGrandPrix Ireland – July 23, 2011
The Irish round is hosted by Kilkenny Castle, one of the top five most visited attractions in Ireland.
Round 5: TriGrandPrix Valencia – September 11, 2011
Racers are treated to a bike route that includes the Formula One arena.
Round 6: TriGrandPrix France – October 2, 2011
The final round takes places in Ciboure – a few miles from Biarritz and St. Jean de Luz – along the iconic French Pyrenees coastline.
