Celebrities, athletes and locals helped raise over $175,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the Nautica South Beach Triathlon on Sunday.

Over 2,400 people competed side-by-side on the shores of Miami Beach for the 3rd annual event to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Hannah Montana and Fame star, Anna Maria Perez de Taglé, kicked off the festivities by singing the national anthem. NFL Carolina Panther running back DeAngelo Williams hosted the awards ceremony and led the Kid Run and Tot Trot.

The triathlon was divided into two races. The all-new International Distance Race kicked off with a 1.5k ocean swim, followed by a 40k bike over Miami Beach’s causeways, and concluded with a 10k run alongside Miami Beach’s famous Art Deco District.
