Sally Meyerhoff 5K Set For December

Sally Meyerhoff, the winner of this year’s P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon, was training for the Olympic Trials and getting into the sport of triathlon when she was hit by a vehicle and passed away on March 8th, 2011. Sally was beloved by the running community and known for her eccentric fashion sense—she often wore pink compression socks and cheetah print sports apparel during her races.
