Gilbert Ayoub’s newest business venture is born of a “build it and they will come” philosophy.

After 10 years of competing in local races as a runner and cyclist, Ayoub has created a combined retail store and gym designed with the competitive triathlete in mind.

Cycle Technique is on Montreal’s Atwater Ave. Its hours of operation are more gym than retail store, but that’s because Ayoub’s clients start their days early and end them late. Triathletes are known for their work ethic, both on the job and in the gym, so they need a place that caters to their training schedule.

Catering to three-sport athletes is what Cycle Technique does best. The retail space is chock-a-block full of equipment any runner, swimmer or cyclist could ever need. From the smallest bike part to the most specialized piece of swimming or running equipment, there’s more than enough stuff to satisfy the inner gear hound that is part of being a triathlete.
