The podium finish capped off a successful 2010 season for the Canadian. McQuaid continued to post top results on the Xterra triathlon pro tour, while also finding time to claim her first 70.3 win at Ironman 70.3 Lake Stevens in August.

The overall female winner, Sally Meyerhoff of Maricopa, Ariz., has also had success in triathlon. Although Meyerhoff’s athletic career is focused mainly on running, she competed at the 2010 Ironman 70.3 California triathlon and won the 25-29 female age group in 4:45:07.
